I'm not dead
Saluton!
Hi everyone, Gizzy here with an update. I am not yet studying Esperanto again, because my schedule is really stuffed with school and family life. Our house has been half-way renovated for the better part of 6 months now and its terribly difficult to get to most things since nearly everything is in a box.
I still plan to study Esperanto. I still have the books and everything, I just dont have the time to commit to it right now. I'm taking Spanish 1 in school now, in the Spring I'll be taking Spanish 2. I would say I'll pick back up my study of Esperanto in the Spring but I'll be taking 22 credits then so I will probably not have the time.
I hope to pick up my studying sometime in the summer, I'm learning to use Spanish finally, I had alot of vocabulary and some fixed phrases but now I'm actively learning the SPN grammar, which is good I guess. I've always wanted to learn Spanish and Arabic so hopefully around May I'll be free until September to study Esperanto.

No need to apologize
You're not the only one having to put Esperanto studies on hold; my life has been cluttered by two jobs (a full time warehouse job during the day and supermarket checkout time on select nights part time), and I am only now trying to make time, however short, for lernu! when I have a free night. That said, I recently renewed my E-USA membership and will do the same for the UEA sometime next week. I won't give up, and I hope you won't either.
