I designed these new flyers to publicize our weekly Amherst meetings. They're two sided, on a quarter sheet of letter-size paper which my friend got produced at a local copy shop. He just sent them the PDF and they made 40 copies 4up, (which they cut into 160 little flyers for us) for about $30, which is less than $0.20/flyer.

We had meant to blanket the cafeteria over Monday and Tuesday mornings, ahead of our Tuesday afternoon meeting. We ended up only getting them into the cafeteria on Tuesday around lunchtime. Even so there was a new face at our weekly meeting and it was someone who'd already studied Esperanto! He said his girlfriend had seen the flyer and had called him to let him know. He'd learned Esperanto a couple of years before and just hadn't found anyone to practice with. His pronunciation was good, but he said he'd forgotten all of the vocabulary. In fact, he remembered stuff right along. It just goes to show that you never know who's out there.

We've still got a hundred or so mini flyers. We'll hit the cafeteria again next Monday and Tuesday maybe we'll get a few more!
