Anyone for playing Diplomacy in Esperanto?
Hi, I recently played Diplomacy again for the first time in ~25 years and had a great time. It's a little tough to play face-to-face, though, you need 7 people and several hours. But it can be played asynchronously via email, or even through Facebook and it's great fun and need not take loads of time.
Looking about to see if there are Esperanto players, I found several links to
Jon Stewart-Taylor's page , which looks nice but it hasn't been updated since 1998.
(Here's a brief article on problems non-native English speakers may face playing DIplomacy internationally )
I'm actually a little too busy to play myself until early August -- but if anyone's interested in having a go at an Esperanto-based game in Facebook or via this adjudicator for a game that may be played either via email or a web interface, let me know and we can set something up the first week of August.

I'd be willing to play other games, but my constraints are:
(1) it must be asynchronous [is the word for synchronous really "sinkrona", as in Benson?
I might use samptempa or samtempenda or something]. my time for this is very irregular
and I want something I can spend just a few minutes on once every few days.
(2) the total time required per week must be small
diplomacy is nice in that it requires a certain amount of conversation. facebook?
or dp-judge? I'm not sure if either allows you to run with fewer than 7, though.

Mi volonte provos, kvankam mi ludis "Diplomacy" nur unu fojon antaŭ jardekoj. :) Mi ludas kaj ĝuas multajn aliajn tabulludojn, kaj plaĉas al mi ludi en Esperanto. (Mi ĵus ludis Dixit, Blokus, Tantrix, ktp en Esperanto dum SES en Slovakujo kun homo el diversaj landoj.)

I'd be interested...
I probably haven't played Diplomacy in 20 years or so, but I'd be up for a game, especially after GenCon time (which ends August 16).
