A Google Logo Doodle in Honor of Zamenhof?
Google often switches out their homepage logo in honor of various holidays, events, and important individuals. These logos are very visible and generate a lot of press.
Renato Corsetti has suggested that Esperanto-speakers advocate recognizing L. L. Zamenhof with a special Google logo on December 15th, in honor of Zamenhof's 150th birthday. I think it's an intriguing idea that could have a big impact successful.
Google accepts proposals for logo doodles at proposals@google.com. If you're in favor of the idea, send them a short e-mail.

Remember http://gmail.com/fightspam? (The good bit's right at the end, so you can skip the first 7/8 or so if you don't want to watch the whole thing. On the other hand, it's maybe more unexpected and fun if you watch the whole thing!) (Sent my email too.)

Bone!
That's excellent. I also wrote them a short email including that tidbit. I feel that Google's ideology resounds with that of Zamenhof's--Google works hard to make its products available in many languages. I think they could relate.

I sent in a note
That's an excellent idea. Thanks for providing the e-mail address. I wrote them a short note.
I often click on the logo when I see it's different, and it's fun to learn about new things that way. It would be a very positive thing.
