Informo pri Esperanto en la lando Burundo.

Merkrede ni (Jérémie, Thierry kaj P Claver) iris al Radio NDERAGAKURA (Pri Edukado) kaj tie oni intervjuis nin. La ĵurnalisto (kiu vizitis nin dum la studseminario gvidita de Kapista) estis antaŭinformita pri la progreso de Esperanto en nia lando kaj pro tio li faris gravajn demandojn al ni.

Mi invitas ĉiujn sekvi la programon "Jeunesses en action" ĉi-marde je la 19-a. Vi aŭxskultos multon pri la nuna situacio kaj pri niaj strategioj. La intervjuado estas franclingva.

Ĵaude, la samaj personoj estis invititaj ĉe RSF BONESHA FM (Loka Radielsendejo) por klarigi al la publiko la gravecon kaj celojn de Esperanto. Ni profitis la okazon anonci al la aŭskultantoj pri la koresponda kurso (por tiuj kiuj loĝas en foraj regionoj) kaj la anonco efikis ĉar je la fino de la programo multaj el diversaj provincoj telefonis min petinte ke mi havigu al ili tiun korespondan kurson. Kelkaj eĉ akceptis viziti min por ke mi klarigu al ili pri kio temas.

La ĵurnalistino ankaŭ interesiĝis kaj prenis de ni lernolibron. Ŝi diris ke ŝi deziras la korespondan kurson.

Dum la programo la aŭskultantoj telefonis kaj ĉiuj petis al ni instrui ilin. Sed tio ne eblas ĉar estas kelkaj, kiuj estas en foraj regionoj. Nur la koresponda kurso povas helpi nin kontentigi tiajn bezonojn.

Mi ĝojis ĉar kelkaj esperantistoj telefonis kaj eĉ helpis nin (telefone) konvinki aliajn aŭskultantojn. Mi ege dankas ilin (Emmanuel, Richard, Babu, Sefu... )

On Wednesday we (Jérémie, Thierry and P Claver) went to Radio NDERAGAKURA (On Education) and we were interviewed. The journalist (who visited us during the study seminar guided by [Teresa] Kapista [of Serbia]) was preinformed about Esperanto's progress in our country, and because of this he asked us important questions.

We invite all of you to listen to the program "Jeunesses en action" this Tuesday at 7 P.M. You will listen to a lot about the current situation and about our strategies. The interview is in French.

On Thursday, the same people were invited by RSF BONESHA FM (Local Radio Studio) to explain to the public the importance and the purposes of Esperanto. We took advantage of the occasion to announce to the listeners about the correspondence course (for those who live in distant regions) and the announcement worked because at the end of the program many people from different provinces phoned me asking that I provide them with that correspondence course. Some even agreed to visit me so that I might explain to them what the matter was all about.

The journalist was also interested and took a textbook from me. She said that she wanted the correspondence course.

During the program the listeners phoned in and all of them asked me to teach them. But that isn't possible because there are several who are in distant regions. Only the correspondence course can help us satisfy such needs.

I rejoiced because several Esperanto speakers phoned and even helped us (by telephone) to convince other listeners. I thank them very much (Emmanuel, Richard, Babu, Sefu...)
