I wish every child could walk safely to a library.

I wish rich men were thanked for their generosity, and deserved it.

I wish every lonely old person had children in their lives.

I wish every child was loved by someone a generation older than their parents.

I wish we would forgive.

I wish every person who is dying would know they made a difference
and would be remembered.

I wish we would fill a 50,000 seat stadium to hear a math lecture.

I wish everyone could remember what they wanted to be.

I wish every child could look through a microscope in wonder.

I wish a man could be poor with dignity without having to struggle.

I wish we could all name a few stars.

I wish a statue and a fruit tree stood on every corner.

I wish a buffalo could roam from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico.

I wish we loved the homeless as much as we love our pets.

I wish we could deliver medicine as well as we deliver ordinance.

I wish we seriously considered ideas like Esperanto.

I wish we would strive to make more things free.

I wish we would strive to make the price of a thing reflect its cost.

I wish our leaders would be thanked as often as they are criticized.

I wish we would learn to ask for forgiveness.

I wish mankind would explore the stars together in peace.
