The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages has deveoped guidelines for teaching foreign languages and evaulating proficiency. The examinations developed within this framework are being used all over the European Union for evaluating language competency.
Esperanto has been added to the list of languages covered, and Katalin Kovats (at edukado.net) is administering these examinations (called KER-examinations) throughout the Esperanto community.
Katalin will be administering KER exams at NASK in Raleigh. You can signup to take the oral or written exam, or both.
