Esperanto-USA Anoncas Strategian Partnerecon por Subteni Retajn Kursojn de Esperanto por Usonaj Lernantoj

Esperanto-USA Announces Strategic Partnership to Support Online Esperanto Courses for U.S. Learners

Esperanto-USA has reaffirmed its mission to promote and educate the public about the international language Esperanto by announcing a new initiative in partnership with the London Esperanto Club’s established course program. Through financial support of their well-organized online course offerings, specifically those tailored to learners in the United States, Esperanto-USA aims to increase accessibility to high-quality language instruction.

Under this agreement, Esperanto-USA will provide funding for selected online courses that directly serve U.S.-based students. The supported classes will be scheduled at times convenient for American learners, such as weekday evenings or weekends.

The terms of support are as follows:

  • Only courses designed for U.S. learners and scheduled at times accessible to our membership will be eligible for funding.
  • Esperanto-USA will approve both the number of courses sponsored and the instructors selected to teach them.
  • Instructors will receive compensation of $25 per lesson, totaling $300 per standard 12-week session of weekly online classes, based on the current course structure. Payment will be issued by Esperanto-USA to the London Courses at the conclusion of each course cycle for instructor compensation.
  • Each supported course must enroll a minimum of five participants.
  • All instructors must be active members of Esperanto-USA.
  • The London Courses will be publicly acknowledged as being co-sponsored by Esperanto-USA.

This partnership represents a meaningful investment in the growth of Esperanto learning opportunities across the United States and strengthens international collaboration within the Esperanto community.

Esperanto-USA looks forward to the successful launch of these jointly supported courses and to welcoming more learners into the Esperanto movement.
