The basic and pro accounts in ipernity

Ipernity offers free basic membership, but it does not come with download capability. That is, you cannot download documents uploaded to ipernity by other ipernity members. However, for a yearly subscription fee, you get download capability. Those who pay the subscription fee are known in ipernity as “pro” members (and the “pro” logo is displayed in their ipernity space).

Therefore, since many members of the Esperanto-USA blogging community may not be “pro” members of ipernity, when I upload a document to ipernity that relates to Esperanto, I very likely will also enter it as a blog post in the Esperanto-USA blogsphere.

By the way, two-tier membership seems to be a common format. For example, Yahoo email is free (senkosta), but if you want to be free (libera) of the graphical ads, you have to pay a yearly subscription fee.
