Greetings from Radio Poland

Today I heard the broadcast from Radio Poland, which they sent on Dec 16. They send greetings to us, the total membership of Esperanto-USA. We happily and thankfully receive the greetings from Poland.

I listen to the daily radio broadcast as I drive in my car. I create CDs out of the MP3 files that are available at www.polskieradio.pl/eo/. A few days ago I sent an email to the Esperanto crew there. I greeted them and they mutually and wholeheartedly greet our entire membership in Esperanto-USA. That is international friendship by means of Esperanto.

I strongly recommend that members of Esperanto-USA listen to the broadcasts of Pola Radio and to other Esperanto podcasts that are available on the internet. For example, go to the famous webpage of Scott Redd (Omaha, Nebraska), radioarkivo.org, to enjoy the big collection of sound files in Esperanto from various countries.

   In recent months I've heard interviews and speeches from Humphrey Tonkon, Paul Gubbins, Renato Corsetti, Probal DasGupta, Claude Piron and other notables in our Esperanto world.

   The reports are good even for beginners, because even they can train their ears to understand the spoken language. Now the daily broadcasts last about twenty minutes each. Go, listen, and enjoy. Then you can write an email to them at
   esperanto (at_symbol) polskieradio (period) pl.

   They always ask for our reports about our activies, for example, about what we did for our Zamenhof-day festivities.
