Ej, CRI, ĉu ni povus aŭskulti vin nun?

The last time I blogged about China Radio International's Esperanto offerings, I had a hangup with the way their wrote and read their reports.

But now… I can't access their shows at all.

For the last few nights, including tonight, I tried to access their recent broadcasts online. Most of their show links point to RealPlayer files, which didn't annoy me much. It was the error messgaes that did:

Requested file not found. The link you followed may be outdated or inaccurate…

Choosing the "Surreta Radio" brought up a prompt for an external program such as VLC (which I like to use). Fine, but nothing happened and the error messages kept on coming:

CRI's webmastering team should have just now received a short note from me, in as simple Esperanto as I could make it, asking them to switch to a Flash-based streaming system just like the one used by Polskie Radio or by Ameriko.org for the weekly Radio Havano Kubo broadcast.

Of course, if CRI needs to get over their hangup with making downloadable MP3s of their programs, so be it. In the end, I would think they want their broadcasts to be heard…
