Just a thought about what the acronym ELNA might mean if the NA didn't mean North America... Esperanto-Ligo Usona
Transparent Language sells an inexpensive multimedia computer program for learning Esperanto. It can be downloaded immediately, so naturally impulse buying kicked in when I saw it, and I had to have it. (Besides, my kids can use it, I rationalized.) I've used it only a little bit so far, but I do have some comments. The reference info in the Windows Help pulldown is skimpy. (It doesn't have any information about affixes!) The interface is rather nonintuitive, though I'm sure one can get used to it pretty quickly.
All posters include text describing Esperanto and full contact info for E-USA. Consider printing most of these on colored paper.
Feel free to download and print these posters and one-sheets. Hang them in your office, make copies for your friends and neighbors, give them to Aunt Clara and Cousin Sofia.
A PDF Reader, such as Acrobat Reader, is required.

Mi ekpreparas por la vojagxo al Austin kaj la LR festo. Mi jam promesis porti multajn aferojn: komputilo, sen-drata bazstacio, video-kamerao, ktp. Mi prognozas ke mi devos multi labori kiam mi trapasos la sekurecan kontrolejon. Eble pro miaj kontrauxmilitaj agadoj mia nomo aperas nun sur iu listo kaj oni devigas min iri en malgranda cxambro kaj malvestigxi. Brrr. Tro malvarmas por tio!
Mi helpis d-ro Steven Brewer kun cxi tiu komunumo.
In addition to being a simple website, this is also a user community. We need you to add content. We need to know how you think we can promote Esperanto; what you need to learn and promote Esperanto better; what you think would be fun and exciting.
Here is a very brief guide to adding content:
Look at the right-hand side of your screen, under your username. (You will likely have to scroll down to see it.) If you see "create content" as a link, then you are empowered to add to this website. (If you don't see the link and you think you ought to have it, contact retpagxestroj at esperanto-usa dot o rg).
This is a book (a collection of webpages under one heading) about using this website.
Hopefully it will be a collaboration among many people.
It will contain references to the Drupal software manuals and other internet related materials.
Mostly, it will define policies and ideas that will help us build a great user community!
If you can't find the answer here, you can browse the archives of the elna-retpagxo mailing list. And, if all else fails, send email to "retpagxestroj (cxe) esperanto-usa (punkto) org".
Editing of the content was completed a month or more ago, but we're waiting to send the catalog to the printer until ELNA's new publication, Bertil Wennergren's 700-page Plena Manlibro de Esperanta Gramatiko (more affectionately known as the PMEG arrives from the printer. In the meantime, here's a temporary on-line PDF copy of the contents of the new book catalog for you to peruse. The file, which is more than 100 "pages" long, is also about one megabyte.
