In Esperanto, how would one refer to something like a 2x4? I always imagine a pair of Habitat for Humanity carpenters from different countries who only have Esperanto as a common language. Surely they wouldn't rattle off the name 'ducola kontraŭ kvarcola ligno' ever time they referred to it.

The other thing that has me stymied is what would one call the game of 'jacks'?
