Arrival & Departure Information
NASK: Please arrive before 5 PM on 6/27. The dinner of 6/27 will be the first meal provided at NASK. The course will conclude at 2pm on Friday, 7/3. We invite participants of NASK to linger a little bit longer after the conclusion of the course on 7/3 to browse the E-USA congress bookstore at your leisure.
Landa Kongreso: The check-in desk and conference bookstore will open at 2pm on 7/3, and the first activity, Interkonaj Ludoj (Icebreaker Games), will begin at 5pm. The conference will conclude after breakfast on Monday 7/6, which will end at 9:30am. Those wishing to stay for our Post-Congress Excursion on 7/6 may remain for an additional night and depart on Tuesday morning, 7/7.

LK Program Highlights
July 4th Celebration
This year’s conference includes a special 4th of July celebration on Saturday night aboard a cruise ship. Our July 4th Dinner and Fireworks Cruise offers a unique vantage point to watch the fireworks show as it illuminates the downtown skyline and reflects off the waters of Lake Erie. Before the sky lights up, guests will enjoy a relaxing excursion along the Cuyahoga River and the harbor, taking in views of the Flats and North Coast Harbor.
A delicious buffet style dinner will be served on board, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Once the fireworks conclude, the celebration will continue with an on-board DJ playing a variety of hits.
Public Talk on Esperanto History in Cleveland
The history of Cleveland has a fascinating tie to Esperanto. Lidia Zamenhof, L. L. Zamenhof’s daughter, traveled to Cleveland in 1937 while teaching Esperanto in the United States, 5 years before being murdered by the Nazis after her return to Poland. Local retired CSU professor Jeremy Genovese will tell the story of her visit to Cleveland and other interesting parts of Esperanto history in the city. This talk will be open to the public and in English. We look forward to welcoming the greater community into our conference.
