Kantlibroj cxe TKEK 2008

Mi esperas, ke cxiuj, kiuj povas ecx iomete kanti aux ludi muzikinstrumentojn, kaj kiuj logxas ne tro for, cxeestos TKEK 2008.

Se vi intencas cxeesti, mi petas, bonvolu kunporti viajn plej sxatatajn kantojn, aux en nia kara lingvo, aux en aliaj lingvoj. Dum la Interkonatigxa vespero, mi volas fari liston de ili. Mi alportos la malnovajn kantlibrojn de Lusi, cxar mi volas helpi sxin eldoni novan kantlibron.

Angle, pri la kantlibro

What I'm collecting at TKEK (and everywhere else) is traditional folk songs, NOT necessarily already in Esperanto (although they may be), from as many languages/cultures as possible, that Esperanto speakers would be excited to see in a new Esperanto song book.

Criteria that I have come up with (I haven't yet spoken with Lucy about these - this is only my opinion) are:

1. Best would be REAL TRAD folksongs, that is, NOT in copyright. Getting permissions is the most difficult part of editing a songbook.

2. Singable and playable by non-experts.

3. From some part of the globe other than Europe or Usono. This is because we already have many of those in existing songbooks that we can ask for permission to reprint. Most of the songbooks I've seen are biased toward Europe and the English-speaking countries.

At TKEK (and elsewhere)I will be asking for both lyrics and melodies. I can write out both if you sing them to me, and I'm bringing staff paper. But if there is a printed version, that would help lots. Fred said I can look at his collection, which includes Japanese songs.

I hope to have a LOT of translations already started by the time I head for NASK this year. That is where I hope to get lots of help from the altkleraj for the polishing up operations.

My main function, as I see it, is to be the central song-gathering station and music transcriptionist, and to petition as many other Esperantists as I can for help. Fun for me! Good for my progress! And eventually we might get a usable, fresh songbook out of it. Gxis, Koto

Koto,

Antaŭnelonge mi petis ĉu iu jam tradukis la usonan kanton, 'One Tin Soldier.' Iu respondis kun sia ttraduko de la kanto en Esperanto! Mi opinias ke tiu kanto estas tre taŭga en Esperanto. Mi povas sendi ĝin al vi se vi volas havi la teksto.

Mi opinias ke la traduko estas tre bone post nur unu-du ĝustigoj. Se vi volas, bonvolu kontakti min.

Saluton, Mar, kaj cxiuj cxe Amikema...

Mi ne povas perrete ricevi vian kantlibron, cxar ni ne uzas "broadband", nur "dialup;" trodauxrados la elsxutadon! :P

Sed mi kaj mia edzo partoprenos NASK 2008 - cxu vi vizitos cxi jare, eble dum iu semajnfino?
