Welcome!

This is the website of Esperanto-USA (formerly ELNA), a charity that promotes knowledge of and usage of the planned international language Esperanto in the United States.

At the top of most pages, you will see some links in green with bold lettering that say Learning Esperanto, Membership, Local Groups, and Resources for Activists. By clicking on one of these main links, you can view various sections of the website based on various topics. For example, "Learning Esperanto" has content for people thinking about learning Esperanto, including links to other websites. "Local Groups" contains regional information, including how to contact a local club of Esperanto-speakers. On the left, you can see "Recent blog posts" by the many Esperanto-speakers who keep blogs, in English, Esperanto, or both, at this site.

By becoming an member of Esperanto-USA, you can create a blog or add to this site, instead of just reading it! This site is a dynamic, growing community.
